We firmly believe that given the choice, individuals would prefer their spending to contribute to saving lives, alleviating poverty, and fostering a more equitable and joyful world. MEET BRAD WEST, THE VISIONARY BEHIND THE PROFIT FOR GOOD INITIATIVE.
BRAD SERVES AS THE FOUNDER AND CEO OF THE PROFIT FOR GOOD INITIATIVE WHILE ALSO PURSUING A CAREER AS AN ATTORNEY IN THE CHICAGO SUBURBS.
His journey towards founding Profit for Good Initiative began when he discovered the incredible impact of highly efficient charities addressing global issues. Determined to make the world a better place, Brad honed his creative and critical thinking skills in economics and law during his years at the University of Chicago Law School.
Brad’s epiphany came when he realized that most firms didn’t compete based on where their profits went. Typically, the lion’s share of profits flowed to relatively affluent investors. He saw an opportunity to revolutionize the system by embedding charities into firms’ equity structures. This innovative approach would enable consumers to make purchases at the same price while simultaneously supporting charities. Brad believes that this opportunity has the potential to supercharge cost- effective charities and profoundly improve the world we live in.
